يا مهدينا طال البعد فمتى يبدو القمر
تعبت كل عيون الدنيا من آلام السهر
في كل فؤاد نبضته تدعو للمنتظر
وقلب مولاي دعاك…متى ترانا ونراك

من لدنيا غير إمام فيه يسود الهدى
عجل عجل يامهدينا نرفع هذا الندا
فسواد الليل أبا صالح في الصبح لنابدا

يا موعوداًفيه العدل يسود كل الامم
يابن الهادي ويامن تحوي الخير وكل القيم

يا آخر نور من أنوار في الكون بدا
كل الارواح أبا صالح لظهورك أنشدت
ولرؤيت طلعتك الدنيا أشتاقت وتوحدت

English Translation (Poetic)
Oh Son Of Hasan(AJ), my soul be your Ransom,
When we You see us and we see you?
Oh Son Of Hasan(AJ), my soul be your Ransom,
When we You see us and we see you?
Oh Son Of Hasan(AJ), my soul be your Ransom,
When we You see us and we see you?
Oh Our Mahdi(AJ), long is the delay for when will we see the moon (like a bright moon lighting up a dark night)?!
All the world’s eyes are exhausted from seeing the pain (of separation from You)!
IN every heart (with every beat) resonates the calls, yearning for the Awaited(AJ)!
And the hearts – Oh our Master(AJ) – call to You, when will You see us, and we see You?
Who else is there for this world, except the Imam(AJ) to ensure it’s guidance?!
Hasten! Hasten! Oh Our Mahdi(AJ)! Let’s all raise this call!
In the darkness of the night, Oh Aba Saleh(AJ), we yearn for the morning!
And raise with it (with the dawn of the new morning), your call of guidance …
… when will You see us, and we see You?!
Oh the Promised One(AJ), who will ensure Justice across every nation (every peoples),
Oh the son of Guidance (al-Hadi)! Oh he who is the bearer of all that is good and the best (and most sublime) of values,
Take your steed, and ride swiftly, and hold high that flag (of the true Islam)!
Reveal for us the light of Your presence, When will You see us and we see You?!
Rise and spread the banners of Justice, and remove the darkness of this (perpetual) night,
And raise the true religion of the Guide Ahmad(S) (Prophet Muhammad(S)) throughout the World!
And help the hands that are raised to You (to Allah through You), Oh Mahdi(AJ) with cries for help!
When will the lovers eyes belong the Beloved?!
When will You see us, and we see You?!
Oh the final Light from the Lights at the origin of the Universes!
All the souls, Oh Aba Saleh(AJ), sing (and yearn) for your return!
The world is united in longing for Your return (the desire for Your return is universal)!
That we can see an end to the oppression of Tyrants, When will You see us and we see You?!

Dramatization of the Martyrdom of Zuhayr ibn Qayn(A) one of the heroic companions of Aba Abdillah(A) Imam Husayn(A) on the day of Ashura (Muharram 10, 61AH) against the forces of the despotic tyrant Yazid ibn Muawiyyah headed by Omar ibn Sa’ad and Shimr ibn Dhil Jawshan on the plain of Karbala in Iraq.
This portion shows the night of Ashura when Aba Abdillah(A) removed any obligation to remain from the companions and the candles were blown out. It shows the heroic statements of Zuhayr ibn Qayn(A) to the army of Yazid and in particular to Ibn Sa’ad and Ibn Dhil Jawshan. It shows his fight, and the break he requested for prayers.
It shows that famous prayer of love that imam Husayn(A) led his followers in while a barrage of arrows from the Army of the enemies of Allah fell upon the prayers.
Ultimately it shows the final stand of Zuhayr ibn Qayn(A) against the forces of evil and his ultimate martyrdom.
Video dramatization taken from the excellent Mokhtarnameh produced by Iranian TV and Radio, directed by Davoud Mirbagheri(HA). Subtitled by Shabbir R Hassanally on behalf of Inspire Pictures Limited.
This is a draft workprint, and the subtitles are draft. They are reasonably accurate, but have no been proofed. As it’s Muharram it was felt that getting this online with subtitles that conveyed the meaning was a priority.
We ask that Allah hasten the return of our beloved Master(AJ), the grandson of Aba Abdillah(A), al-Hujjat ibn al-Hasan al-Askari(AJ), may our souls be his ransom), and alleviates our suffering. Ameen, Ya Rab al-Alemeen.

This is the twelfth episode of The New Dawn.
The subject of this weeks discussion is “From The Cradle, To The Grave”. This discusses the subject of education, with our special guest, Shaykh Muhammad Zakariyyah. The nasheed this week is Talal Badru Alayna – which is the welcome nasheed that was sung by the people of Madinah when welcoming Prophet Muhammad(S) to their city at the time of the Hijrah, the audio is by performed by a group of various Muslim youth, with the video by The Digital Martyr
This episode was broadcast on Hidayat TV (Sky Channel 803) on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10pm.
This episode marks the end of Season 1 of The New Dawn. The New Dawn will be back with a Special Episode, featuring a very special guest in the first week of December 2009, insha Allah, as well as with a special feedback show.
Season 2 of The New Dawn will start in the second week of March 2010.

The Digital Martyr has extensively remastered the original Ruhullah documentary, and the entire narrative has been re-subtitled professionally to remove any ambiguity in translation and to ensure that the viewer has the best possible understanding of the content of this groundbreaking documentary, which discusses in great depth the life of the late leader of the Islamic Revolution, and founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Imam Ayatullah Ruhullah al-Musawi al-Khomeini(RA).
