This is the twelfth episode of The New Dawn.
The subject of this weeks discussion is “From The Cradle, To The Grave”. This discusses the subject of education, with our special guest, Shaykh Muhammad Zakariyyah. The nasheed this week is Talal Badru Alayna – which is the welcome nasheed that was sung by the people of Madinah when welcoming Prophet Muhammad(S) to their city at the time of the Hijrah, the audio is by performed by a group of various Muslim youth, with the video by The Digital Martyr
This episode was broadcast on Hidayat TV (Sky Channel 803) on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at 10pm.
This episode marks the end of Season 1 of The New Dawn. The New Dawn will be back with a Special Episode, featuring a very special guest in the first week of December 2009, insha Allah, as well as with a special feedback show.
Season 2 of The New Dawn will start in the second week of March 2010.

NOTE: We apologise for the poor quality of tonight’s show; this was on account of logistical issues experienced by Hidayat TV in obtaining the master of the show from The Digital Martyr’s servers.
The glitch has been resolved; however; a lower quality version had to be aired; which is why you have experienced technical issues.
The issues that led to this have now been resolved; and Hidayat TV will be rebroadcasting the episode at 12pm on Thursday in its full quality. You can also always watch a high quality version of the show on your computer at www.themartyr.net

This is the third episode of the first season of The New Dawn.
The subject of this episode is “The Ummah Needs You”; discussing the youth activism within the Muslim Community, with our guests, Brothers Mazahir Karim and Muhammad Asaria. This episode also features the world-wide premiere of full video of the Nasheed “Allahu Akbar” by OnTheD.
OntheD are a new group of young poets, musicians and artists from around the world. Their last release, “KARBALA: The Unspoken Word” – a poetry album inspired by the message and sacrifice of Imam Husayn(A), his family and companions on the 10th Muharram – featured poets and hip hop artists from the UK, USA, Canada and Mexico and was successfully sold across Europe, North America and Australia.
They are currently completing their next two projects; a Hip-Hop/Nasheed album due out in Summer 2010 and their next spoken word poetry album entitled “The Twelfth Prince” which is expected to be launched in December.
This episode was initially broadcast at 10pm on Tuesday, 11th August 2009.

Free Gift: “Ya Amena” Nasheed

UPDATE 6 (August 7, 2009 @ 9:15am) We have just made a 3GP version of ”Ya Amena” available. This will play on most mobile handsets, including (but not limited to Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Blackberry, HTC, etc).
UPDATE 5 (August 7, 2009 @ 9:05am) We’ve recieved some messages from visitors saying that they’ve had playback problems with our Ipod Small/Large files; we’re very sorry for this inconvenience, since we don’t have Ipods we’ve not been able to test the file.
In light of this, however, we have now preparing an Ipod Failsafe Version, which we can say with a larger degree of certainty,will play correctly on all Ipod Video capable devices. Naturally, if you experience problems, please let us know and we’ll do our utmost to assist and remedy the problems, insha Allah.
UPDATE 4 (August 7, 2009 @ 12.45am) The Divx HDTV version is now ready for download.

UPDATE (August 7, 2009 @ 12:00am): Due to popular demand, we are working on making Apple Ipod Video Versions of this nasheed available. A Divx version will also be made available at the same time for viewing at home on your DivX enabled video player or your computer.
