NOTE: We apologise for the poor quality of tonight’s show; this was on account of logistical issues experienced by Hidayat TV in obtaining the master of the show from The Digital Martyr’s servers.
The glitch has been resolved; however; a lower quality version had to be aired; which is why you have experienced technical issues.
The issues that led to this have now been resolved; and Hidayat TV will be rebroadcasting the episode at 12pm on Thursday in its full quality. You can also always watch a high quality version of the show on your computer at www.themartyr.net

This is the third episode of the first season of The New Dawn.
The subject of this episode is “The Ummah Needs You”; discussing the youth activism within the Muslim Community, with our guests, Brothers Mazahir Karim and Muhammad Asaria. This episode also features the world-wide premiere of full video of the Nasheed “Allahu Akbar” by OnTheD.
OntheD are a new group of young poets, musicians and artists from around the world. Their last release, “KARBALA: The Unspoken Word” – a poetry album inspired by the message and sacrifice of Imam Husayn(A), his family and companions on the 10th Muharram – featured poets and hip hop artists from the UK, USA, Canada and Mexico and was successfully sold across Europe, North America and Australia.
They are currently completing their next two projects; a Hip-Hop/Nasheed album due out in Summer 2010 and their next spoken word poetry album entitled “The Twelfth Prince” which is expected to be launched in December.
This episode was initially broadcast at 10pm on Tuesday, 11th August 2009.

This is the second episode of the first season of The New Dawn.
The subject of this episode is “The Hijab Holocaust”; discussing the issue of racism and hijab in light of the tragic murder of Marwa Sherbini, the Hijab Martyr, with our guest speaker, Shaykh Shabbir R Hassanally. This episode also features the full video of the Nasheed “Ya Amena” by The Vigil, featuring Ahmad Hamadani.
This episode was initially broadcast at 7pm on Tuesday, 4th August 2009 (due to a double booking), and repeated again on the same day (Tuesday, 4th August, 2009) at 10.30pm (it was scheduled for 10pm)

The New Dawn – Season 01 – Episode 01 – Death By Assimilation and the Poison Within

UPDATE (July 29th, 2009):
Hidayat TV have advised us that the technical issues that they experienced are now completely resolved. In light of the botched broadcast of the first episode of The New Dawn, Hidayat TV have agreed to rebroadcast the same episode (Season 1 – Episode 1) – in it’s entirity - on Thursday, July 30, 2009 at 12pm (confirmed) and again at 10pm (Confirmed).
We have also been advised that starting from August 1, 2009, the Sky Electronic Program Guide will also feature The New Dawn.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
We appologise for the poor quality of the broadcast on Hidayat TV, this was due to technical difficulties experienced by Hidayat TV and is NOT a reflection on the actual program. The online edition of the program is now live and available to view, and you will be able to watch the entire program in it’s entirity as it was supposed to be broadcast over here.
The Digital Martyr is currently working with Hidayat TV to determine the exact cause of the problems, and how they can be resolved in the future to prevent such problems and harm your viewing experience.

This is the first episode of the first season of The New Dawn. This episode was broadcast on Hidayat TV (Sky Channel 803) on Tuesday, 28th July 2009 at 10pm (UK Time).
The subject of this episode is “Death by Assimilation and the Poison Within”, with our guest speaker, Sayyed Ali Abbas Rizvi. This episode also features the full video of the Nasheed “Seal of the Prophets” by The Vigil.
